Data processing terms
Last changed 27 October 2026. These terms are part of the terms. They cover the personal data you put into Crierwick, as UK data protection law asks of a business that processes data for another.
Who does what
You are the controller of the personal data you put into Crierwick: details of your customers, leads and contacts. I, Benjamin Iannotta, trading as Crierwick, process it for you as your processor, only to run the service.
Your instructions
I process the data only on your documented instructions: what you ask the app to do, and these terms. If I think an instruction breaks data protection law, I tell you.
Keeping it confidential
Apart from the people you add to your workspace, only I can open it, to run the service and to put faults right. Nobody else works on Crierwick; if that changes, they will be bound to keep it confidential before they start.
Security
The data is kept on a rented server in Germany, with locked copies off site, and each workspace is kept apart from every other. The page on where your data is kept says more.
Other companies
The companies that handle the data for me are on the list of companies. Before I add one, I add it to that list. The own terms of each company apply to what it handles, as the privacy notice says.
Helping you
I help you answer requests from the people the data is about, and with any breach, impact assessment or question from the regulator, as far as the service allows.
If something goes wrong
If I find a breach of your data, I tell you without undue delay, with what I know and what I am doing about it.
At the end
When you leave, I delete your workspace and everything in it, or give you a copy first if you ask, unless the law says I must keep something.
Checking
I give you the information you need to show these terms are kept, and answer your questions about them by email.
